It’s hard to believe it’s already been two weeks since our #FNTSYXP Weebz and Waifus Meet-Up brought gamers, cosplayers, and anime lovers together from across the nation for a weekend full of fun, networking, and pure vibes!
Night 1: Closet Cosplays & Good Times!
The weekend kicked off on February 7th at Anime Boba Cafe, where the theme of the night was Closet Cosplays! Thanks to owner Jason, we snapped some incredible pictures, indulged in delicious boba and snacks, and connected in one of Vegas' most beloved anime hotspots.
After fueling up, the crew headed over to Sunset Station Cinemark to watch the fan-favorite Sonic 3, which won by unanimous decision. With energy still running high, we capped off the night with bowling lanes provided by Pro Zone Gaming Division. Shoutout to our bowling champions, Tyler and Edge, for dominating the lanes and showing off their skills!
Night 2: The Official Weebz & Waifus Meet-Up!
The energy doubled for Night 2, and attendees knew they were in for something special as professional photographers set the mood, offering free photography upon arrival. After check-in, guests strutted their stuff down the pink carpet in front of the official backdrop featuring sponsors Pro Zone Gaming Division, FNTSY XP, and the official Weebz and Waifus logo.
Once inside, guests explored multiple photo stations and enjoyed a snack bar that featured noodles from China 🍜, unique toppings from Japan including fishcakes, Skittles, chips, and marshmallows, as well as soda and water.
Of course, the vibes didn’t stop there! Our official DJ streamed live on Twitch, mixing a fire blend of hip-hop, house, EDM, and anime remixes that kept everyone dancing. And let’s be real—it got HOT! 🔥 But that didn’t stop our guests from getting creative—cooling off outside, snapping pics with supped-up Supras, and making hilarious videos in the lobby.
With the event spread across different areas of the venue, it almost felt like a mini convention... and who knows? With more support from the community and additional sponsors, Weebz and Waifus could be the next big con in the future! 🚀
Competitions & Big Winners!
As the night continued, the stakes got even higher with two major competitions:
🏆 $100 Cosplay Giveaway: Huge congrats to our winner, @ineedbetterusers, for bringing an unforgettable look!
🎮 Tekken Tournament Grand Prize: @that_one_kid_west walked away with over $300 in value, including $100 cash, two free tickets to Weebz and Waifus 2026, and a complimentary hotel stay for next year’s event!
